4. – 7. September, FDI World Dental Congress 2026 in Prague

For the first time in history, the world’s most prestigious dental congress was held in the Czech Republic. Prague’s O2 Arena hosted experts from 122 countries around the world. One of the main topics was artificial intelligence in diagnostics and clinical decision-making. Experts discussed how AI helped identify tooth decay, endodontic diseases, or bone loss caused by periodontitis more quickly and reliably—as well as where its limits lay and who would bear responsibility for a wrong decision. We are delighted that Lucie Najmanová was among the invited speakers, delivering a lecture entitled “Oral dysbiosis indicates periodontitis and increases the risk of developing non-communicable diseases”.
