Participation in the 9th International C. difficile Symposium

From September 8 to 10, 2026, Gabriela attended the 9th International C. difficile Symposium for the first time, held in Slovenia. This major event brings together the scientific community working on Clostridioides difficile. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for exchanging knowledge on a wide range of topics, including epidemiology, diagnostics, clinical trials, fundamental research, and more. To foster innovative approaches to better understand the bacterium’s pathogenesis and improve disease management. For our team, this conference was an opportunity to:

-Present and discuss the latest advancements about Erythromycin resistence in C. difficile,

-Establish new connections with international researchers,

-Reconnect with partners and colleagues to strengthen our joint projects.
