Job description
The person will work on a project titled “Novel Mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in bacteria“, defining so far-unknown mechanisms by which bacteria fight against antibiotics, and which we have already uncovered in our laboratory.

The person will enter the PhD program at the affiliated Faculty of Science of Charles University – this is a formal requirement, 100 % of the work will be done at the Institute of Microbiology.
The position is initially planned for four years, depending on performance and progress of the project.
Requirements
- Msc degree in biology (at the time of starting the position – i. e. in October).
- Enthusiasm for science and eagerness to learn
- Excellent work ethics
- Good team-work skills
