Workshop: MS metabolomics data processing using mzmine

Dear colleagues,

On Thursday, March 20th (with an optional pre-workshop session on March 19th), we are hosting a MZmine workshop at the Krč campus within our Inter-Micro OP JAK project.

19 - 20. 3. 2025
Jagr Seminar Room, Institute of Molecular Genetics, Krč Campus – Vídeňská 1083, 142 20, Praha 4

MZmine is a powerful open-source tool for processing LC-MS/MS data, particularly well-suited for data from high-resolution MS instruments like Orbitrap and qTOF in untargeted metabolomics. The workshop is designed for both beginners and advanced users, though I especially recommend it for those currently working with or planning to process such data. If you’re unsure whether the workshop is right for you, feel free to reach out.

The main workshop will take place on Thursday, March 20th (full-day, in person). Additionally, there will be a pre-workshop Zoom session on Wednesday, March 19th (13:00–14:15), covering metabolomics basics—recommended for beginners. Please indicate your attendance for this session in the registration form.

There are only 20 spots available so please do not hesitate with registration.

Location: Jagr Seminar Room, Institute of Molecular Genetics, Krč Campus – Vídeňská 1083, 142 20, Praha 4.
What to bring: Your laptop with MZmine 4.5.0 installed (see program for details)
