VědaFest 2026 once again brought together science enthusiasts of all ages for a day filled with exciting experiments, innovative inventions, and interactive activities. Students, children, parents, and curious visitors explored the fascinating world of science through hands-on demonstrations and inspiring conversations with researchers.
Our laboratory was proud to take part in this year’s festival, where we introduced visitors to the remarkable world of bacteria, antimicrobial resistance, and antibiotic production. Through interactive activities and engaging discussions, participants discovered how bacteria influence our daily lives, why antimicrobial resistance is a growing global challenge, and how scientists search for and develop new antibiotics to combat infectious diseases.
