Objectives of the project
ProtAIomiProtAIomics is a European Innovative Doctoral Network aimed at training the next generation of computational proteomics researchers by integrating advanced artificial intelligence (AI) methods with proteomics. Computational proteomics stands at the forefront of cutting-edge life science research, utilizing advanced data analysis and AI to decode the complex interplay of proteins in biological systems. Proteins, typically referred to as the workhorses of biological systems, are central to understanding cellular functions, disease mechanisms, the mode of action of drugs, and drug response. The network brings together 15 beneficiaries and 9 associated partners from diverse academic and non-academic sectors, including university hospitals, SMEs, and large companies, to tackle key challenges in the computational proteomics field.
