On Wednesday, June 18, our team joined the fun at VědaFest 2025 in Praha Dejvice—one of the biggest outdoor science festivals in the Czech Republic! We were there to show how bacteria can actually help us fight infections and to talk about antibiotic resistance in a way everyone could understand.
A big highlight? Thanks to our awesome colleague Vojta, we were able to share our presentation in sign language—making it accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors for the first time!
It was an inspiring day full of curious kids, engaged students, and enthusiastic adults. We loved being part of this celebration of science—and we hope our message left people a little more curious about the amazing world of microbes.
