IMIC participated in Researchers’ Night in Prague, Třeboň, and Dobruška

IMIC participated in this year’s Researchers’ Night at three locations – in Prague, Třeboň, and Dobruška. We would like to thank all our colleagues who helped and participated in this event; without their energy, time, and enthusiasm, this event would not have been possible.

We prepared lectures, laboratory tours, and presentations on scientific topics from fungi, bacteria, and algae to microplastics; so there was something for everyone!

We greatly appreciate the interest of the public. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

The Prague campus in Krč was visited by over 900 visitors, about a third more than last year! At the Krč campus, we presented the “wealth of biomedicine” in collaboration with the Institute of Physiology of the CAS and the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the CAS. The program at the Dobruška Gymnasium, prepared by the high school together with the Laboratory of Gnotobiology, attracted 350 people, and the Algatech Center in Třeboň welcomed about 140 people!

The following laboratories participated in Researchers’ Night: Laboratory of Environmental Biotechnology, Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Immunology, Laboratory of Gnotobiology, Laboratory of Molecular Structure Characterization, Laboratory of Antibiotic Resistance and Microbial Metabolomics, Laboratory of Fungal Genetics and Metabolism, and Algatech Center.
